Talent shows are a dime a dozen nowadays, and they always brag that they can discover fresh new talents who will change the world. They seem more and more similar these days, but here's something that Spice Girls fans can get totally excited about: Spice Idol. The Spice Girls are rumored to be planning an American Idol-esque TV show along with their former manager Simon Fuller. Old Spice Girls fans might be wishing that this show were around back when the group was truly huge to give them a chance to dress up and perform like their idols, but this show should introduce a whole new generation to the Spice Girls' music, style, and attitude.

Melanie Brown's been planning a major celebration for her vow renewal in Egypt with husband Stephen Belafonte. The four-day bash is taking place in the city of Hurghada and will feature an elaborate treasure hunt for her family, friends, and other guests. The couple will renew their vows on the second day of the celebration, and the day after, they will take their guests out on a luxury diving boat. In case guests have no idea about the scale of the celebration, the invitations are twenty pages long and have been designed to look like passports.

We hoped to see the Spice Girls spending more time together, but it looks like none of the girls have been invited. Mel B said this is because the other girls already have other commitments scheduled around the time of the celebration. There are rumors, though, that Victoria Beckham finds the whole event "tacky" and has snubbed any invites. Tsk tsk, no wonder people suspect the whole "friendship never ends" bit is all a farce.
